The delivery of the 100% electric crawler crane with exchangeable battery pack will soon be a fact. Urban Mobility Systems, PV-E Cranes and Volker Wessels, would therefore like to invite you to an exclusive event dedicated to the product launch of the EC160, an electric crawler crane with a capacity of 160 tons.

PV-E Cranes

On Friday, March 18 , during this free event at the headquarters of PV-E Cranes, you will discover machines with new technology to make your business more sustainable. PVE Cranes & Services has over 20 years of experience in selling and renting crawler cranes. From the head office in Oosterhout and branches in Florida, Dubai, Cairo and Muscat, one hundred of these cranes are rented out worldwide.

Various parties have been approached with a view to the electric motor, engineering, battery solution and engine management. Urban Mobility Systems from Oss eventually became the partner for the complete electric drive for the EC and ECT series. The batteries are interchangeable, so that it is possibly to replace them and be charged elsewhere. Working for 8 hours without intermediate charging was one of the key features.
