In the RTL 4 news broadcast of September 29, Urban Mobility Systems demonstrates how it enables the road construction industry to operate emission-free.
KWS Infra Eindhoven is carrying out asphalt maintenance on the provincial road N280 on behalf of the Province of Limburg. Throughout the entire route, the asphalt structure is being removed in layers and reapplied. Additionally, the existing emergency lane is being replaced with a strip of permeable grass concrete tiles, and the current guardrail is being replaced.
In the news segment, Raymond van de Stadt, Director of KWS Infra, and Lars Kool, CEO/CTO of Urban Mobility Systems, explain how the challenge of making road construction more sustainable is being addressed with the fully electric asphalt paver developed by UMS.
