What a milestone! We are incredibly proud that, together with our partners, we won the Infratech Innovation Award 2025 last week in the Sustainable Collaboration category!
This award is the result of an amazing collaboration with Dura Vermeer, the Province of Gelderland, and Rijkswaterstaat, among others. Together, we have pushed boundaries and proven that innovation and sustainability go hand in hand!

ASFALT RECYCLE TREIN
The Asphalt Recycling Train (ART) is a series of machines that, in a single operation, heats, loosens, improves, mixes, and spreads the old asphalt surface layer on-site. All material from the old layer is reused at a high level, making the method 100% circular.
To achieve the climate and circular goals for the infrastructure sector by 2030, the ART method is essential. Rijkswaterstaat has therefore launched a broad initiative to validate the method for various surface layers across the country. The Province of Gelderland made the first test sections available in June this year. Dura Vermeer took on the challenge of working with this innovative technique, while ART-E invested in machines to make them available in the Netherlands.
A sustainable collaboration that requires courage, perseverance, and conviction from all parties involved.
